Capture from a Remote Device#

Scan a QR code to point a phone, tablet, or other machine on the network at the proxy.

Use Remote Device to capture traffic from a phone, a tablet, or another machine on the same network as your computer.

Start a Remote Device capture#

  1. Select Remote Device in the capture-source dropdown. A QR button appears in the toolbar.
  2. Select Record.
  3. Select QR. A modal opens with a QR code that encodes the proxy address. The dropdown above the code lets you pick which network interface to advertise, so a multi-homed machine can use the correct one.
  4. Scan the QR code from the device. The device gets the proxy host and port, and you can configure it to route its traffic through the proxy.

The device must trust the GraphDagger CA certificate. Without that trust, HTTPS interception shows a certificate warning on every site. Export the certificate from the Certificates dialog and install it on the device first.

Stop a Remote Device capture#

Select Stop in the toolbar. GraphDagger does not reset the device's proxy settings. If you configured them by hand, undo them on the device.
