Read the release notes#
Open the one-off notification that follows an update and read what changed in the new version.
When you open the app for the first time after an update, a notification tells you what changed. Its title is What's new in the new version. It appears once per upgrade, so you see the release notes without a search.
Read the release notes#
Unlike a routine message, this one waits for you rather than fades, and it stays in the notification centre.
Open the centre from the bell and find the What's new entry. Select What's new on that entry to expand the release notes for the version in place, so you read what changed without a move away from the app.
To read the entire release history, select View full changelog. This opens the complete changelog on the web.
Where else the changelog appears#
The notes you read here are the same notes that Settings shows. To browse past releases at any time, not only after an update, open the Updates tab in Settings.
