What row annotations do#

Tint rows and attach notes so you can point at the moments that matter, for the current session only.

Annotations let you mark up rows in the events list before you walk someone else through a trace. You can tint a row with a colour, attach a comment, or both. They point at the moments that matter, and they do not change the trace itself.

Everything starts from the right-click menu on a row. From there you set a colour or add a comment. You can do either to several selected rows at once.

Annotations are for the session only#

Colours and comments live in the current session. The app does not write them into the trace file, and it loses them when you close the tab. Treat them as working notes for the trace you have open now, not as a permanent record.
